The likelihood of your childhood card being centered well and undamaged coming out of the pack was very low
The amount paid for it truly surpasses everything
For example, if you blight 2 and put two -1/-1 counters on a creature with three +1/+1 counters on it, two of those +1/+1 counters and the two -1/-1 counters will be removed, leaving the creature with only a single +1/+1 counter on it
Because of these rules, many players assume the best bet is to bid low and earn the point, but this strategy should be used with caution
