pokémon - trading card game: hydreigon ex Hydreigon-EX | XY—Roaring Skies 1 oversize foil card featuring Dragapult ex Hydreigon ex 119/191 Double Rare
Description
This was one of those cards that a lot of decks were on the edge of playing, either because they couldn't quite get threshold reliably or they didn't want to splash one of the colors, inviting them to play a high-risk but high-reward game with their mana bases that both cost them games and won them games they had little right to win

Legends (1994) First appearance of the gold frame, representing multicolored cards

See you next time, and take a break to play outside
As a 4/4 for 5 mana, its already a solid body, but the real value comes from its ability to tap and remove a +1/+1 counter from one of your creatures to deal 2 damage to any target

Its also why you cant wait to see what card is being named by effects like Nevermore or Pithing Needle and then try and use the named card in response the choice of name becomes part of them entering the battlefield and the restriction is already applied before anyone gets priority
