The second one is similar to Furnace of Rath, but unlike it, it does not target your own creatures
Lurrus fuels a lot of decks full of cheap cards: I dont really want to use counterspell on a Memnite, Thoughtseize or even Lightning Bolt
Having less types in your deck can make it more consistent
