If youre experiencing issues with the cigarette lighter or power outlet in your RAM 1500, its often related to a blown fuse

If you plug it in backward, the OEM fuse location will still work properly, but the tap will not provide fused protection to the new accessory
Also, keep in mind that these taps can only be plugged-in in one direction
